Return and Exchange Policy

ENGAGEMENT RINGS

  • Full refunds are not available for engagement rings.
  • All engagement ring custom orders require a 30% non-refundable deposit.
  • Natural engagement rings returned within 30 days of purchase are subject to a 50% restocking fee. After this period, returned natural engagement rings will be valued at fair market value.
  • Happy Jewelers lab diamonds may be returned within 30 days of purchase, with a 50% restocking fee applicable for store credit only. This credit can be utilized towards a fine jewelry purchase only. No returns on lab diamonds are accepted after 30 days.
  • Engagement rings are eligible for an upgrade by purchasing a new diamond that is a minimum of double the original purchase price. Details of our diamond upgrade program can be found below.

FINE JEWELRY (NON-CUSTOM)

  • We gladly offer a full refund or store credit for returns or exchanges on non-custom jewelry pieces within 10 days of receiving your order.
  • To qualify, the jewelry must be returned in the same condition and working order, including all original packaging.
  • For returns between 10 and 90 days, a 50% restocking fee applies, and store credit will be issued exclusively for fine jewelry purchases. Customers are responsible for all associated shipping costs.
  • Please note that original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.
  • Exchanges are not permitted for altered items including engraved items.
  • All purchases of markdown items including Sale of the Day, Pink Tag Sale, and Pre-Loved Designer Jewelry are considered final sale, and no returns, exchanges, or refunds are eligible.

FINE JEWELRY (CUSTOM)

  • Custom jewelry orders require a 30% non-refundable deposit.
  • All purchases of custom jewelry, including name necklaces, engraved items, and custom pieces, are considered final sale.
  • Full refunds are not available for engagement rings; refer to the engagement ring policy for details.

WATCH RETURN/EXCHANGE

  • A 30% non-refundable deposit is required for all watch orders.
  • All watch sales are considered final, and no refunds will be issued.

JEWELRY RETURN/EXCHANGE

For orders placed through the website, use the online return/exchange portal.

For orders placed directly through a salesperson, mail your item through  an insured and traceable method to the following address:

Be sure to include a note with your name, salesperson, original purchase date and details regarding the intended exchange or repair. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen incoming packages and we do not provide complimentary return labels.

PRICE MATCH POLICY

  • Happy Jewelers offers store credit for the price difference if the cost of an item you bought within the last 7 days decreases.
  • To qualify for a price match, the request must be submitted while the sale is active.
  • If your original order was placed with a discount, no further discounts will be applicable.
  • To request a price match, kindly contact us via email at orders@happyjewelers.com with your order number and name.

DIAMOND UPGRADE PROGRAM 

  • Happy Jewelers extends a "Lifetime Diamond Upgrade Program" for all GIA, HRD, AGS, EGL, and IGI certified natural or lab-created diamonds purchased from our store.
  • Only diamonds certified by GIA, HRD, AGS, EGL, and IGI that are purchased from Happy Jewelers are eligible for an upgrade.
  • Upon upgrade, you will receive credit equivalent to 100% of the original diamond's price towards the purchase of a new diamond.
  • The new diamond must be priced at least 2 times greater than the original diamond.
  • Any damage to the original diamond may disqualify it from our upgrade program.
  • If your existing setting fits the new diamond and is in reusable condition, we will set the new diamond in the original setting at no additional cost to you.
  • If the original setting cannot be reused, you have the option to keep it or accept a fair market value credit determined by Happy Jewelers.
  • The original diamond grading report must be returned in reusable condition; fees may apply for any damaged or missing reports.
