Omega James Bond Watches Get a New 007 and Spectre Edition

Few luxury watch partnerships have become as recognizable as Omega and James Bond. For more than three decades, Omega watches have been part of the 007 story, appearing on the wrists of Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig and becoming closely associated with the character's sophisticated, adventurous style.

Now, Omega is celebrating that relationship with two new Omega James Bond watches, and this time the brand is giving fans both sides of the story.

Released for James Bond Day on October 5, 2026, the new Omega Seamaster Diver 300M models are inspired by James Bond and his legendary adversaries from Spectre. The two 42mm stainless steel dive watches share the same core construction and movement but take very different approaches to their design.

One is unmistakably Bond. The other embraces the darker side of the 007 universe.

The New Omega Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Edition

The James Bond version features a blue aluminum dial with Omega's familiar laser engraved wave pattern. The color immediately recalls some of the most recognizable Seamaster watches associated with 007 over the years.

A Grade 5 titanium bezel adds another layer of technical appeal, while Bond's family coat of arms appears at the 12 o'clock position. The watch comes fitted to a brushed stainless steel mesh bracelet, giving it a refined appearance while maintaining the rugged character expected from a Seamaster Diver 300M.

Turn the watch over and the Bond connection becomes even more obvious. The movement's rotor incorporates the famous gun barrel motif associated with the opening sequences of the James Bond films.

It is a subtle detail, but one that gives the watch a distinctly collectible feel. Rather than simply placing a 007 logo on the dial, Omega has worked the character into the construction and finishing of the watch itself.

For collectors who have followed the history of James Bond Omega watches, these details are part of what makes the new release interesting.

The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Spectre Edition

If the Bond model represents the hero, the Spectre edition represents the villain.

The second new watch takes a much darker approach, featuring a black grained dial and black ceramic bezel. Instead of the bright blue tones used on the Bond version, the Spectre model is designed around a stealthier black and monochromatic aesthetic.

The most recognizable Spectre detail is found on the back of the watch. Instead of the gun barrel design, the movement rotor features the octopus symbol associated with the criminal organization Spectre.

The logo is blackened, giving the watch an especially sinister appearance.

Both models are worn on brushed steel mesh bracelets, keeping them visually connected despite their contrasting personalities. In many ways, the Spectre edition may be the more unusual of the two. Black luxury watches are already popular among collectors, and the addition of the Spectre connection gives this particular Seamaster a much stronger story.

Same Movement, Same Seamaster DNA

While the designs are dramatically different, the two new Omega James Bond watches share the same technical foundation.

Both watches measure 42mm in diameter, with a thickness of 14.23mm and a lug to lug measurement of approximately 50mm. They are rated for water resistance to 300 meters, making them legitimate dive watches rather than purely cinematic accessories.

Inside both models is Omega's Co Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806 automatic movement. The movement offers approximately 55 hours of power reserve and carries Omega's Master Chronometer certification.

That combination of mechanical performance and Bond inspired design is an important part of the appeal. These aren't simply watches made to look like movie memorabilia. They are fully capable luxury sports watches that happen to have an exceptionally strong connection to one of cinema's most famous characters.

Omega and James Bond: A Partnership That Has Lasted Decades

Omega's relationship with James Bond began in 1995 when Pierce Brosnan wore an Omega Seamaster Professional 300M in GoldenEye.

Brosnan's Bond helped establish the Seamaster as the modern 007 watch. The character eventually moved from quartz models to automatic versions, while Omega continued developing watches specifically connected to the franchise.

Daniel Craig's tenure as Bond expanded the relationship even further. Craig wore several Omega models throughout his time as 007, including the Seamaster Planet Ocean, Aqua Terra and various Seamaster Diver 300M models.

One of the most notable examples came with 2021's No Time to Die, when Bond wore a lightweight titanium Seamaster Diver 300M created specifically for the film.

Over the years, the watches have also become part of the Bond mythology. In true 007 fashion, some models have incorporated fictional gadgets and references inspired by the films.

That history is a major reason why an Omega James Bond watch has become much more than another movie tie in. These watches have developed their own identity among Omega collectors.

Why the New Bond and Spectre Watches Stand Out

The most interesting part of the 2026 release may be the decision to introduce the Bond and Spectre watches together.

Omega has created two watches from the same foundation but given each one a completely different personality. The blue Bond model is traditional, recognizable and closely connected to the hero. The black Spectre version is darker, more understated and arguably a little more adventurous.

For collectors, that creates an interesting choice.

Do you go with the classic James Bond aesthetic, or do you embrace the villain?

Either way, the watches demonstrate why the Seamaster Diver 300M remains one of Omega's most recognizable luxury sports watches. The combination of serious dive watch specifications, automatic Master Chronometer technology and a connection to one of the world's most famous fictional characters gives both models considerable collector appeal.
